There runs a show on the idiot box,
and my kids whoop for it like a wild ox.
Mighty little Bheem and his sprightly gang,
have fun and frolic with a massive bang.
Bheem's friends raju, chutki and jaggu a talking langur,
live in a rural city called dholakpur.
He prides in strength that is extraordinary,
and also shares a warm camaraderie.
Together they help the poor and the needy,
and is the nemesis of Kalia who is a bully and greedy.
Bheem is the pride and joy of Raja Indravarma,
and the princess helps him in his noble karma.
Children see the show with so much joy,
pity that it does sometimes annoy.
For why should bheem derive power from laddoos,
and why not instead devour carrots or kaddus?
Let the show be a good influence,
and may Bheem learn from Popeye's spinach affluence.
The sugar rush from the laddoos will do no good,
as the kids need to have sensible food.
Such power does the Bheem team have,
that the kids watch them with all fanfare.
for they are sure to follow,
what bheem & his gang swallow.
So can the makers listen to my humble plea
to turn their show into a worth watching glee :)
I think kids should be allowed to eat laddoos - we did as a kid and turned out pretty good. When they grow up they will automatically have to cut down on things. Let kids enjoy I say - this healthy stuff goes a bit too far - balance in everything. But loved the rhyme.
ReplyDeletesuzy I am not against kids eating laddoos; yes we did eat them and have turned out good. The point is we did not have an animated superhero eating, breathing laddoos 24/7 and talking about how he derives his power becoz of it. Let bheem also eat some healthy stuff and inspire. Thanks anyways
Delete:-) You should send it to the producers, They'll be flattered! - Awesome job!
ReplyDeletethanku so much laxmi

ReplyDeletedanke shilpa; I know bheem & his gang are addictive. what cannot be cured must be endured I guess :D
DeleteCool. Like Laxmi says, you should send it to the makers :) It would definitely be a good idea for Bheem and gang to hog on something sensible rather than on white poison filled laddoos.
